In this article, we are going to talk about Rujira Banerjee. The wife of Trinamool Congress National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee has recently made news. She was under investigation by the Union Home Ministry in 2019 because of alleged “discrepancies” in her PIO card and other paperwork despite being a Thai national. She was recently denied from boarding a flight to Dubai at Kolkata’s Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, adding to the continuing dispute. Regarding Rujira’s religion, there is no information at hand. Abhishek Banerjee, however, proudly identifies as a Hindu and is well-known for being a passionate devotee of Lord Mahadev. Given this, it becomes sense to presume that she practices Hinduism as well.
Who Is Rujira Banerjee?
Abhishek traveled to Goa for two days in 2019 and stopped at the Shri Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math and the Rudreshwar Temple. He actively participated in a number of religious rites while he was there and had interesting chats with the temple priests. He obviously loves his religious convictions and uses these rituals to find spiritual fulfillment. It’s interesting to note that despite his strong religious ties, he supports keeping politics and religion separate. He stresses how crucial it is to keep these two spheres separate. He went to Sakhali’s Rudreshwar Temple on his journey. Later, he traveled to Canacona’s Shri Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math, where he got the chance to meet Swamiji. Abhishek Banerjee’s wife Rujira was born in 1988 in Kolkata, India, and is a politician and TMC leader.
On February 24, 2012, they got married, and they’ve been together ever since, enjoying being parents to their two kids, Azania and Aayansh. Before enrolling at Jadavpur University, Rujira completed her schooling at a private school in her hometown. Her family, however, goes beyond her own family. The wife of Indian politician Abhishek Banerjee was once again placed in an awkward situation when she was denied boarding at Kolkata’s Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport for a journey to Dubai. She was detained at the airport as a result of this episode, which was brought on by her claimed involvement in the Bengal coal smuggling fraud.
Two businesses, Leaps and Bound PVT LTD and Leaps and Bound Management Services LLP, have reportedly been connected to Banerjee and his family, according to the Enforcement Directorate (ED). According to the ED, these companies obtained illegal protection monies worth Rs. 4.37 crore from a construction business through people who are being looked into for their involvement in the coal smuggling case. The probe is a result of an FIR that the Central Bureau of Probe (CBI) filed in 2020 over coal theft. So this was all about this article. So, Stay tuned to PKB news.
