Laura Jarrett ethnicity is Afro-American. She is an American journalist and litigation lawyer best known for her work as a political reporter for CNN.
The reporter is also the daughter of the infamous Valerie Jarrerr. Her mother was a Former government employee who served as a Senior Advisor to President Barack Obama.

The pair wed in Kenwood, Chicago, in 2012. They were with each other during college. Government leaders and lawmakers were present at the wedding.
Even then-President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle were at the ceremony to bless the newlyweds.
The co-anchor of CNN Early Start and her husband Tony Balkissoon welcomed their daughter June Tahay on Sunday, July 17, 2022.
The new baby’s name is a combination of the middle names of two women in the couple’s family. The couple is also the parents of a 3-year-old boy James. She gave birth to her son on July 16, 2019.
