The actress is single. Ross maintains her privacy, in the 2017 interview, she claimed to be single and to be liking herself more. She added that, despite cultural and societal expectations, what had happened was just beautiful.
Ross confirmed that idea in a Shape interview, describing herself as blissfully single. She admitted that while she wasn’t actively seeking a relationship, she was open to one.
Ross, the daughter of Motown singer/actress Diana Ross and music industry manager Robert Ellis Silberstein, was born on October 29, 1972, in Los Angeles, California.
The actress is of mixed ethnicity as her mother is African-American and a Baptist and her father is Jewish. She chose the name Tracee Ellis Ross to keep both of her parents’ names. Rhonda Ross Kendrick and Chudney Lane Silberstein are her two sisters.

Tracee Ellis Ross is extremely forthright about being single, but it hasn’t prevented rumors from swirling. The possibility of a romantic relationship between Jessica and her Black-ish co-star Anthony Anderson has been raised by many.

Thiam provided some information regarding the relationship and the reasons they broke up while appearing on The Breakfast Club. He claimed that his unwillingness to fully commit to the relationship was the cause of their split.
In 2020, there were additional rumors of a relationship between her and Kenya Barris, the creator of Black-ish. Barris and Ross never addressed the romance rumors in the media, and it appears exceedingly doubtful that the two had a romantic relationship given the lack of proof.
