Harry James Soutter is a professional footballer who plays as a center-back for Premier League club Leicester City and he also represents the Australian National team.
In 2016, Harry transferred to Stoke City in England after beginning his senior career with Dundee United Soutter has agreed to a contract with Leicester City in January 2023.

At the age of 16, he made his club debut. He afterward played frequently. He chose to remain with Dundee United until 2016, when he signed for Heart of Midlothian despite interest from other clubs.
He eventually signed a pre-contract agreement with the Rangers in January 2022. He joined the team in June of that year after experiencing setbacks and injuries, including a damaged Achilles tendon. He made his Rangers debut in a victory over Livingston.

Age Gap between the Brothers
Harry was born on 22 October 1998, whereas his brother was born on 25 September 1996. Their shared birthplace was Aberdeen, Scotland. By their respective birth dates, they are two years apart in age.
Despite the age gap, the brothers share the same interests i.e. playing football. However, despite being born in Scotland, the younger brother went and became a part of the Australia National team, but he had played for Scotland at two youth levels at, U17 and U19 level.

He stated in an interview, ” My ultimate ambition has always been to play for Scotland. Who knows, maybe one day I will partner John at the center of defense for Scotland, but that’s a long way into the future. I aim to try and establish myself in English football and then see what happens.”
However, he responded to Australia’s invitation and participated in Cambodia’s Olympic qualification just two years later. He continued to represent Australia after that, leading them to the World Cup in Qatar.
The Leicester City’s central defender said he joined the Australian national team because he was not getting any calls from Scotland.
While he was waiting for the call, Australia invited him to play for them, to which he agreed. He added that he is proud of his decision.

Heather and Jack Souttar are Harry Souttar’s parents. Jack, his father, was a professional football player who lined up as a defender for a number of Scottish Clubs, including Hearts and St. Johnstone.
Heather Souttar, his mother, married Jack in Scotland after leaving her birthplace of Port Hedland, Western Australia. This is why the Souttar brother was qualified to represent either Scotland or Australia at the international level.
Harry was born ad raised in Luthermuir, where he first attended Luthermuir Primary School before moving on to Laurencekirks’ Mearns Academy. He has sisters, Alisa and Mhiran, and three older brothers, John, Harry, and Aaron.

He signed with Stoke City in 2016 for a Euro 200K signing bonus. Before establishing himself as a vital player for Stoke City in the 2020-21 season and securing a new long-term deal, he spent time on loan with Fleetwood Town and Ross Country.
