Did Dennis Quaid Have A Stroke?
The actor did not suffer from a stroke. Still, in the past, he battled anorexia nervosa, which he developed after losing 40 pounds for the role of Doc Holliday in Wyatt Earp, and struggled with cocaine addiction.

Other than this information, there is no current information on him suffering any sickness or having a stroke.
The actor makes an effort to maintain his physical well-being and overall health, and he continues to be quite busy both on and off camera.
That involves frequent trips to the gym, eating a hearty breakfast, and rising early in the morning.
Dennis Quaid Illness
The actor has previously been vocal about his battle with cocaine addiction, and on Megyn Kelly Today in 2018, he described how terrible his condition was before he got treatment.
The celebrity claimed that during his formative years, between the 1960s and 1970s, “there was a completely different attitude,” and cocaine use was allegedly commonplace.
Quaid became dangerously underweight after losing 40 pounds for his role, and he described himself as a gaunt-looking man dying of tuberculosis.
In a statement about his battle with “manorexia,” he said that his arms were so thin that he couldn’t pull himself out of a pool.

For many years, the actor confessed that he was “obsessed” with what he was eating, the number of calories he was consuming, and how much exercise he needed to perform.
However, matters took an unfortunate turn in the mid-1990s when Quaid revealed that he struggled with anorexia.
Throughout the 1980s, William struggled with a cocaine addiction and often cried out to God to take away his drug.
When he saw a vision of his life, if he persisted, he made the decision to seek help. After experiencing a white light, he envisioned himself either dying or losing everything, and later, while engaged to Meg Ryan in 1990, he entered rehab.
Dennis Quaid Health Update

He also explained why he now prefers yoga over more strenuous exercises like running and offered some important advice for staying healthy.
The actor discussed his off-screen activities in a 2018 interview, including frequent gym visits, eating a hearty breakfast, and rising early.
The American native claimed that his fitness mindset and some invaluable tips he had received from a fellow gym-goer have persisted with him despite his overcoming his eating disorder and maintaining a much better weight.

Dennis said that while he has remained committed to being in shape throughout the years, the workouts he prioritizes have altered as he matures.
After running for roughly 35 years, the actor had to switch to another sport because running was “hard” on the knees and joints.
The actor revealed: “I turned to cycling, which I’m currently doing. That and yoga. Along with that, you got to still get into the gym and lift. Do the sit-ups. I genuinely enjoy it. Whenever I get on a bike, I feel like I’m 12 years old again.”
